Next Sunday, December 17 marks the 50th anniversary since the disappearance of our 17th Prime Minister, Harold Holt, while he was swimming at Victoria’s Cheviot Beach.

Numerous conspiracy theories emerged following his disappearance, some alleging he committed suicide, others believe Holt faked his own death, was assassinated by the CIA or that he was taken by submarine.
