One of Neil Breen’s producers spotted a man fishing in the Brisbane River yesterday and was amazed to see him pull out this rather sizeable fish!

“It’s a whopper!” Neil said.

He asked for help identifying what sort of fish it is.

Neil got some suggestions through it’s a threadfin salmon.

“You learn something new everyday! I had no idea you could catch salmon out of the Brisbane River,” Neil said.
