The Brisbane Lions are set to confront the Collingwood Magpies in the AFL Grand Final on Sunday afternoon and are carrying a sense of quiet confidence.

The Lions have previously beaten the Magpies this season but are only looking at those wins as a positive reminder.

Brisbane Lions Football Manager, Danny Daly told Peter Psaltis on Wide World of Sports, “It’s been a very exciting week, obviously a busy week logistically behind the scenes…and we’ve had some fun which is good.”

“We’re all very proud of what we’ve been able to achieve and get to a grand final, we’ve still got a little milestone to get through tomorrow afternoon…we’re quietly confident we’ll put our best foot forward tomorrow, we know we have to bring our best game against a good opposition but we feel like we are well prepared and ready to go.” Mr. Daly continued.
