Two climate change protestors have locked together and superglued themselves to a road in Brisbane’s CBD.

Police were forced to close Queen Street in both directions, causing traffic gridlock.

Eventually, officers used anti-adhesive chemicals to unstick and arrest the protestors.

The young man and woman told reporters they are “rebelling against the government’s planned genocide of the human race”.

4BC reporter Anthony Laughton is at the scene and tells Ray Hadley their names are Ebony and Sergio.

Queensland Police has called the protest “a ridiculous waste of resources”.

Ray says the pair needs to “get a bloody job”.
