A Brisbane traveller has been left shocked after his baggage was destroyed during a domestic Qantas flight.

Andrew Glykidis found his bags and belongings wrapped in a plastic bag on a carousel, shortly after touching down from Sydney over three weeks ago.

“Everything basically was all just taped up … when I underdid everything it just fell apart,” he told Sofie Formica.

He said it ended up being a “nightmare” to deal with to try and get compensation.

Some of his clothing and shoes were missing, or destroyed.

He told Sofie he sent 654 emails to Qantas seeking answers and compensation, which he will finally receive after taking his story public.
