There’s traffic woes around Brisbane this afternoon.

On the Bruce Highway, there’s major northbound delays that start on the Gateway Motorway in Boondall.

There’s over 40 kilometres of crawling traffic, at a standstill in some points, 4BC traffic reporter Rhys Messenger says.

On the M1 southbound, there’s also major delays to the Gold Coast, 25 kilometres from Stapleton to Helensvale.

He says if you don’t need to be travelling stay off the roads!
