Police commissioner spends time on the beat

Queensland’s top cop has been out on the beat.
Police commissioner Katarina Carroll completed an operational shift at Caboolture two weeks ago, on a night shift.
“It’s been fantastic to go back and get an insight,” she told Neil Breen on Brisbane Live.
She said some things have changed since her time on the frontline, including the complexity of the cases.
“We went to about four mental health jobs, two domestic violence jobs, two code two jobs, just incredibly complex.”
Some even recognised her while she was out and about!
