The Prime Minister is the ‘architect of his own demise’
Ray Hadley is slamming claims he has contributed to the Prime Minister’s demise, saying the nation’s leader is under fire because of his own actions.
Ray – along with colleague Alan Jones, Sky News commentators and News Corp journalists – are being blamed by some for Malcolm Turnbull’s downfall.
They’ve been accused of running a campaign against the nation’s embattled leader.
And Ray has hit back at the accusations.
“It’s not Ray Hadley, it’s not Alan Jones, Andrew Bolt, Peta Credlin, Sky News, News Corp, who’s put a government in crisis.
“It’s the actions of a megalomaniac politician who cannot, and will not, accept his time was up.”
As the Prime Minister clings on to his political life by a thread, Ray spectacularly outlines exactly how Mr Turnbull became the “architect of his own demise”.

Ray is also calling out the PM’s decision to push back a party room meeting and draw attention to questions about Peter Dutton’s eligibility.
“If anyone wanted an example of what this man’s all about – about the bile, the vitriol, the hatred to those who stand in his way – look no further than yesterday.
“Strong supporters of his had, one after another, gone to say, ‘Malcolm you’re gone’. Moderate people, reasonable people, not shock jocks.”
But despite senior ministers of his Cabinet confronting him to withdraw their support, he decided to hold on.
“What does he do? Does he show any dignity that should be attached to the office of Prime Minister? No,” Ray says.
“He sets out an agenda to destroy his main opposition in Peter Dutton, with this trumped-up Solicitor-General investigation knowing full-well that it has no merit.
“It’s an act of revenge the like of which we’ve never seen before in politics.”
