Ray Hadley has shared the moment his radio broadcasting career began, thanks to some help from The Kingmaker.

John Brennan, who died earlier this year, is credited as the man who kickstarted roles for Mike Walsh, Alan Jones and Stan Zemanek.

Speaking to his old friend and documentary maker Graham McNeice, Ray said he’s lucky to count himself among those who were mentored by Brennan.

“I still have the contract on my wall in my office.”
