Queensland’s crime rates are on the incline, evident through a series of break-ins reported by a Sunshine Coast supermarket owner over the past year.

Roz White owns and manages six different IGA supermarkets across the Sunshine Coast and has reported that all of them have been broken into at least once in the last year.

Ms. White, told Peter Gleeson on Drive, “…This is completely different, crime always existed and continues to, but this is organised people undertaking big rampage, targeted events.”

“…I believe the Police are doing the best thing they can with what they have, what we need is more Police…to build capacity to combat crime and then other resources to help build longer term strategies that deal with youth crime…” Ms. White continued.
