South-east Queensland’s flood disaster won’t be declared national emergency

4BC News

The Queensland floods disaster won’t be included in the national emergency declaration.

Nine News reporter Reece D’Alessandro confirmed the news with the Prime Minister’s office this evening.

The declaration is only for NSW at this stage.

Scott Morrison will meet with the Governor-General tonight to declare the emergency.

Mr Morrison met with flood victims yesterday in flood ravaged Lismore.
