The plans for the new campus of East Brisbane State School in Coorparoo have been unveiled, leaving parents disappointed.

The Education Department has unveiled a Master Plan, providing a glimpse of the future campus in Coorparoo for the incoming 350-student East Brisbane cohort.

President of P&C at East Brisbane State School, Austin Gibbs told Peter Gleeson on Drive, “…I’m trying to be polite and professional here but it just continues to be really disappointing and disillusioning…”

“Well now we’ve got the plans [for the new school] it’s largely just refurbishing some old 1970’s buildings…it’s totally different from what we’ve been promised…” Mr. Gibbs continued.
