Ray Hadley has ripped into the decision to allow an NRLW player to take the field after an offensive post about Queen Elizabeth II.

Wide World of Sports revealed Newcastle Knights and former Jillaroos star Caitlin Moran published an insensitive post about the Queen’s death on social media.

Moran went on to play for the Knights after Ray revealed what was said in the now-deleted Instagram post.

“It’s absolutely mind-numbing that the club has done nothing,” Ray said.

“Newcastle going on like a busted behind on the football field and now I’m starting to see why! The standard they accept is the standard they live by.”
