The QBCC has failed to assist a Queensland family after the construction company went into liquidation.

Valerie Kenner’s family has found themselves on the brink of financial devastation as the Queensland Building Construction Commission was unable to provide assistance when Landmark Building and Developments went into liquidation.

Ms. Kenner, told Peter Gleeson on Drive, “…We got an email from QBCC, and it read your claim has been approved…I opened it and read the email and it says I’m entitled to zero.”

“I’m baffled, it’s so heartbreaking, I had to sit down, and I said to my husband this can’t be real…they’re saying the contract we signed was underpriced and…we would have to produce $180,000 before they can help us…” Ms. Kenner continued.
