A South-East Queensland first has been presented to the Sunshine Coast Council for the development of a large-scale event space capable of hosting music festivals and concerts.

The Comiskey Group has submitted a development application for the Coochin Fields events space, situated on Roys Road at Coochin Creek.

Rob Comiskey, Co-Founder and Director of the Comiskey Group, told Peter Gleeson on Drive, “…Now we are going for a DA application for a world-class not only concert site, but event site as well…there’s nothing like that in South-East Queensland…”

“…We’ve got international artists contacting us regularly trying to see if they can play there, so it’s something pretty special,” Mr. Comiskey continued.
