‘Pretty slack’: Passengers failing to mask up in taxis

Taxi Council Queensland is reminding passengers masks are still mandatory on public transport and in taxis, with many failing to abide by the mandate.
The organisation posted on Facebook to remind Queenslanders to mask up.
“I think everyone has got pretty slack about it, so we were just reminding people what the rules are,” CEO Blair Davies told Spencer Howson.
“We are not out there policing it, we are just complying with the rules set by Queensland Health.”
He admits some drivers are also failing to wear a mask.
