For many marathon swimmers crossing the English Channel is the challenge of a lifetime, but it wasn’t enough for Brisbane teenager Brianna Thompson.

She’s now recovering after becoming just the sixth Australian to complete a double crossing, a feat that saw her in the water for more than 22 and a half hours.

Brianna did a single crossing last year and she explains to Mark that she always approached that swim as preparation for doing the double.
