At the weekend the RSPCA and 20 animal rescue groups held their Big Adopt Out in Brisbane with all but a handful of dogs and cats finding homes.

5,000 people passed through the doors but no-one wanted Winky the one-eyed six-year-old Bull Terrier-cross.

Mark is keen to find Winky a home and RSPCA spokesperson Michael Beattie says he’s a good boy who’d be a faithful companion.
