When the Victoria Bridge eventually closes to regular traffic to make way for the Brisbane Metro one lane will be entirely dedicated to cyclists.

No date has been set for the closure but construction of is due to start next year with services to commence in 2023.

Brisbane City Council Deputy Mayor Adrian Schrinner tells Mark it is essential the bridge is repurposed if the Metro project is to work.
