Deputy Premier Jackie Trad wants the toll on the Go Between Bridge abolished in response to council plans to ban cars from the Victoria Bridge.
The council though is having none of it.
Ben spoke to Deputy Mayor Adrian Schrinner to get his thoughts on how long suffering drivers will cope with one less river crossing for cars.
