University scholarships for top video gamers
Five students at the Queensland Institute of Technology have become the first in Australia to be offered scholarships to play video games.
Each of the students receives $10,000 to train and compete in the League of Legends Oceanic Challenger Series as part of the university’s team, the QUT Tigers.
