Turn left on Red

A decision by the Palaszczuk Government to implement road rules from New South Wales will severely impact a congestion busting trial by the Brisbane City Council.

The Turn Left on Red system has been at 50 intersections around town since 2013.

But that number’s about to be wound right back in the name of pedestrian safety.

Ben spoke to RACQ’s head of technology and safety, Steve Spalding, to see what the impact would be and why Queensland would want to take on regulations from down south.
