Trains have been delayed in both directions throughout Brisbane due to an earlier signalling issue.

Lines affected include Airport, Caboolture, Cleveland, Doomben, Ferny Grove, Ipswich, Redcliffe Peninsula, Shorncliffe, Springfield & Sunshine Coast, with delays up to 30 minutes in both directions.

A spokesperson from Queensland Rail has said that the earlier signalling issue has been resolved, and that there are widespread residual delays, however it is anticipated that delays will be shortened by evening peak travel.
