Brisbane has a secured a round of the 2019/20 Track Cycling World Cup.

The event, that will be part of qualifying for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, will be staged in December next year at the Anna Meares Velodrome at Chandler.

The CEO of Cycling Australia Steve Drake tells Mark it will be a welcome return of the World Cup to Australia after a seven year absence.
