Mark has long argued that the penalties for people using mobile phones while driving are totally inadequate.

This week his 79 year old mother fell victim to a distracted driver who ran a red light in the wet while on the phone and smashed into her car.

Fortunately, Mark’s mum wasn’t bady hurt.

Mark believes it should be a criminal offence, a view shared by former police officer and the founder of Road Trauma Service Sunshine Coast, Gary Church.
