More than a quarter of Britain’s pubs have closed their doors since 2001 according to “shocking” official figures.  Michael talks to Brigid Simmonds, Chief Executive of the British Beer & Pub Association, who says “unless more is done to help alleviate the cost pressures pubs face … they will continue to close and jobs will be lost.”
