It is Child Protection Week and the message to the public is children do not make up stories about abuse and they must be listened to.

Frighteningly 94% of perpetrators are in positions of trust with children.

Child Protection Week ambassador Kay McGrath and ACT For Kids CEO Dr Neil Carrington joined Mark in the studio telling him that even when a child comes forward only 28% of adults will take any action.
