Australia’s obesity problem has prompted calls from The Royal Australasian College of Physicians to classify obesity as a chronic disease.

With two in three adults classified as obese, Australian Medical Association President, Michael Gannon is hesitant putting a label on obesity saying BMI isn’t an accurate measure of obesity.
