The Bearded Dragon Hotel celebrates 27 years of Australia Day traditions

In light of  Australian Venue Co’s refusal to acknowledge Australia Day, 4BC Drive wanted to spotlight a local pub celebrating the public holiday.

The Bearded Dragon Hotel in Tamborine has been hosting classic Australia Day celebrations for 27 years, and this year is no exception.

Host at The Bearded Dragoon Hotel, ‘Toad Man’ told Gary Hardgrave on 4BC Drive, “It’s ridiculous, it’s the day everyone can let their hair down.”

“When it comes to tradition you can’t go past Australia Day and ANZAC Day, they’re hot to trot,” he continued.
