A 47 year old man has been remanded in custody after allegedly carjacking and kidnapping a young woman from a carpark at Robina.

The woman wasn’t physically injured and the man surrendered himself to police within 24 hours.

The alleged carjacking is one of several similar incidents in recent months and Russell White from Driver Safety Australia tells Mark drivers, especially women, develop ‘situational awareness’.
