All ball sports demand a standard ball and in cricket that extends all the way from the test arena to the local community cricket club.

Cricket Australia has given the job of developing a new Australian Cricket Ball Standard to a team at the University of Queensland.

Associate Professor Glen Lichtwark from the UQ School of Human Movement explains to Mark that a suite of testing methods have been developed, including an air-powered cannon.
