Raising awareness for thyroid disorders

Do you know where your thyroid is? And what it does for your body?

Thyroid disorders are more common than you think, but it seems to be very under recognised, with over 1 million Australians going undiagnosed.

With May coming to an end so is Thyroid Awareness Month. A month celebrated by the Australian Thyroid Foundation which calls on all Australians to be more aware of their thyroid health and encourages those concerned to get tested.

Endocrinologist from the San, Dr Katherine Benson joins John Stanley to help raise awareness of the condition.
