New research has revealed that more children are killed in Queensland per capita than any other state and that children under one are most at risk.

The figures have been put together by the Queensland Sentencing and Advisory Council as part of a review of child homicide sentencing.

Council member Dan Rogers tells Mark that child killers get lighter sentences than those who kill adults.
