Queensland set for a long hot summer

Australia is facing an 80% chance of a hotter than normal summer according to the Bureau of Meteorology’s 2018-19 Summer Outlook.

The prediction comes on the back of preliminary figures showing Australia recorded one of the 10 warmest springs on record.

BoM manager of long-range forecasting Dr Andrew Watkins tells Mark there’s no sign of the drought in Queensland breaking any time soon.
