From next year girls attended Queensland state schools will be able to wear shorts and pants if they like.

The Palaszczuk Government has announced it will revamp the Department of Education’s Student Dress Code.

Queensland Secondary Schools Principals Association President Mark Breckenridge tells Mark it is a welcome development but the change must wait until next year.
