Air Conditioning is in only about a quarter of South East Queensland schools. Temperatures have reached 40 degrees in some parts which means thousands of school children are trying to learn in sweltering heat.

The Vice-President of the Queensland Teachers Union, Sam Pidgeon told Ben that it’s not good enough and children need to be in a cooler environment to function in their learning.
