Listen: Queensland Premier, David Crisafulli has delivered an update on recovery payments and the road to recovery for Queenslanders in the wake of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred.

The Premier has revealed, “The first wave; Gold Coast, Redlands and Logan, so that’s payments of $180 per person, $900 per family that are impacted, but let me be really clear, that is the first wave.

“Other impacted areas will come on and we will make sure that as we go from response to recovery, Queenslanders are given every opportunity to return life to normal, ” Premier Crisafulli continued.
