Crews have moved in on the vital $86 million upgrade works at the flood-prone Youngs Crossing at Joyner.

A new four-lane bridge and road is underway to deliver a more reliable North Pine River crossing, set to open in 2027.

Mayor of the City of Moreton, Peter Flannery, told Bill McDonald on 4BC Mornings, “It’s been put in the too-hard basket for many, many years.”
