Australian romantics will splash out more than $500 million on flowers, chocolates and expensive dinners this Valentine’s Day.

However figures show we are increasingly falling out of love with the Hallmark Holiday.

Dr Rebecca Dare from the Monash Business School’s tells Mark a quarter of the population had no plans to mark the occasion, in part because of the cost.
