Nissan’s popular X-TRAIL SUV to get a refresh in December

Nissan’s X-TRAIL SUV will get a refresh in a month or so ahead of an all-new fourth generation model sometime next year.
The refreshed X-Trail will include a new ST+ grade slotting in between the ST and ST-L variants. Nissan’s most popular model representing around a third of its business the X-TRAIL has achieved over 272,000 sales here over a 20-year period. A perennial favourite with a nice mix of urban and off-road capabilities the entry model ST for 2022 retains its 2.0-litre petrol engine while higher grades gain some minor tweaks to their 2.5-litre petrol engine with a slight increase in torque.
Over the entry ST model the ST+ adds a 360 degree monitor, front and rear parking sensors and satellite navigation. Pricing runs from $30,665 for the manual ST front wheel drive to $46,115 for the range topping TI 4 x 4.
