No relief in sight: Fuel retailer defends rising petrol prices

Jason Matthews on 4BC Breakfast addressed mounting listener frustration over rapidly rising Brisbane fuel prices, which are pushing toward $2.40/L for unleaded and past $2.90/L for diesel.

Guest Rowan Lee (CEO of the Australasian Convenience and Petroleum Marketers Association) explained that international wholesale increases in Singapore drive these replacement costs, assuring listeners that while prices will remain high, Australia will not face a physical fuel supply shortage.
