New study on e-scooter rider behaviour reveals interesting compliance statistic

A new study released today by the University of Queensland’s business school micro mobility research cluster has found that a small group of e-scooter users are breaking the rules.

Dr Richard Buning told Dean Miller compliance with the road rules was quite high and changes to the rules didn’t impact compliance.

“I would say much higher than probably public perception or media perception often leads it to believed to be,” he said.
