Four million Australians currently live with arthritis and two-thirds say that they are faring badly with their condition.

Arthritis is the leading cause of chronic pain in Australia costing the health system more than $5.5 billion annually and sadly there is no cure.

Arthritis Australia today launched its National Strategic Action Plan.

National policy manager Franca Marine tells Mark there’s more that governments at all levels could be doing to prevent the condition and make life better for sufferers.
