The Brisbane Heat begin their campaign in the KFC BBL14 on Wednesday night. 

The squad has lost two key players to injury, creating an opportunity for Jack Wildermuth to play after two years on the sidelines.

Jack Wildermuth told Jason Matthews on Wide World of Sports, “I’ve been sitting on the sidelines for the past two years waiting for an opportunity.”

“Obviously, it sucks to have two great players out but I’m pretty excited and pretty ready to hopefully get my opportunity on Wednesday night,” he continued.
