Modifying sports for children could help solve the concussion crisis

Concussion researcher, Dr Alan Pearce, joined Peter Gleeson on 4BC Drive to discuss the increasing number of athletes in contact sports who are retiring due to repeated concussions and how this issues can be solved.

Dr Pearce said ‘concussion itself is one of the biggest causes of death and disability worldwide and it’s not just in sport’, which means the sooner this issue can be solved, the better.
