A woman has given birth to a stranger’s baby after the incorrect embryo was mistakenly transferred at a leading clinic.

The clinic, Monash IVF, has apologised for the mix-up, which has been labelled ‘human error,’  and an investigation found that strict safety measures to safeguard the embryos were followed.
