Redland City Council Mayor, Karen Williams is frustrated with the budget decision to sell an 80 hectare site at Birkdale which was proposed as a university.

Instead, the federal government said the site will support 400 homes despite the Mayor insistence the Redland’s don’t need more housing.

The Mayor tells Ben she will do her best to get the land back.
