‘Massive structural problem’: Mark Bosnich slams state of Brisbane Roar and A-League

Michael Valkanis has been appointed the head coach of the Brisbane Roar after parting ways with Ruben Zadkovich. 

The Roar has struggled in recent years, with game attendance at an all-time low.

Former football player and Stan commentator, Mark Bosnich, told Peter Psaltis on Wide World of Sports, “The fact that the local league is not getting the crowds that it deserves points to some massive structural problem into why aren’t all these kids who participate in football, who watch the European game, watch the games, were talking about why aren’t they attending local games?”

“And that’s something that’s very structural,” Mr Bosnich continued.
