Moreton Island locals are becoming increasingly frustrated with how tourists treat the land. 

Moreton Island local Scott Bielenburg told Dean Miller on 4BC Afternoons that rubbish was placed in a ‘Containers for Change’ bin.

“It was pretty awful, you think of the most maggoty bin you’ve ever had.”

“The more of this stuff that happens, the more the authorities are going to put restraints on us…It’s going to take away what Moreton Island is,” Mr Bielenburg continued.
