Qantas staff have been told to stop using ‘gender inappropriate’ words from their vocabulary, such as ‘guys’, ‘love’ and ‘honey’, for fear of offending others.

The concept was taken further when Author, Madonna King suggested changing chairman to chairwoman or taking ‘man’ out of Manchester.
